Homemade Paradise Drink!

Starbucks recently came out with their new “Paradise Drink” so we made our own version of it at home, with simple ingredients, and even better! It’s tropical, sweet, and so refreshing!

Lately, we’ve been doing a lot of drink recipes! A few weeks ago, we made a recipe on the Pink Drink, and you guys seemed to love it! So when the new Paradise Drink came out at Starbucks, we knew we had to remake it because it just sounded so good!

What is the Paradise Drink?

The Paradise Drink is Starbucks’ new drink on their menu! Essentially, it’s kinda a pina colada flavor (made with pineapple and coconut). We haven’t tried theirs, but we can bet you that our recipe is better, and is so much quicker than driving to Starbucks and getting one there! Plus, it’s a lot more cost effective!

Ingredients:

Pineapple Juice: This is one of the main ingredients in the drink. Also, try to use all-natural 100% pineapple juice.

Brewed Green Tea: The green tea adds a slight earthy tone to the drink and pairs nicely with the sweet pineapple.

White Grape Juice: We also used white grape juice for our Homemade Pink Drink. The white grape juice adds a fruity sweetness.

White Sugar: If you don’t like your drink too sweet, you can skip the sugar. But we find that adding just a bit makes all the difference.

Coconut Milk: Another key ingredient! We use unsweetened coconut milk.

Pineapple Chunks: Starbucks uses freeze-dried pineapple, but that can be harder to find, so we just use fresh pineapple, and we actually like the taste more too!

A Key Step:

When filming the Pink Drink, we tested it many times before it was ready to share! And this step applies to the Paradise Drink too! When we first made it, the coconut milk was separating and got all chunky. So we did some research and more testing and realized that was happening because we just stirred the coconut milk in and didn’t shake it. So next we tested it with shaking and it turned out perfect! So shaking is very important. Plus, shaking it makes the drink foamy and frothy on the top, which we love!

As always, we hope you guys enjoyed this recipe! And if you try it, be sure to tag us on our Instagram @corrigansisters. -Aubrey and Tara
