Today we are sharing our favorite recipe for this Cozy Gingerbread Latte! It’s the perfect warm drink to make this Christmas season. It basically tastes like a gingerbread cookie in drink form, topped with a creamy, perfectly spiced whipped cream!

First Christmas recipe of the year! This Cozy Gingerbread Latte with all the warm spices is so easy to make and will become your new go drink to this Holiday season!

Ingredients:

Milk: We used whole milk for this recipe.

Maple Syrup: We find that using maple syrup adds a nice flavor while also sweetening the drink.

Molasses: Molasses is what gives this drink the gingerbread type of flavor.

Ginger + Cinnamon: Two must haves!

Vanilla Extract: Another must have!

Black Coffee: Use your favorite type of coffee.

Today we are sharing our favorite recipe for this Cozy Gingerbread Latte! It’s the perfect warm drink to make this Christmas season. It basically tastes like a gingerbread cookie in drink form, topped with a creamy, perfectly spiced whipped cream!


Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Gingerbread Latte:

2 cups whole milk

2 Tbsp. real maple syrup

1 Tbsp. molasses

1 tsp. ground ginger

1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

2 tsp. vanilla extract

1/2 cup brewed black coffee (for each mug)

For the Spiced Whipped Cream:

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

1/4 tsp. ground cloves

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract


Instructions

1. To a small saucepan, add in 2 cups whole milk, 2 Tbsp. real maple syrup, 1 Tbsp. molasses, 1 tsp. ground ginger, 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, and 2 tsp. vanilla extract. Give that a quick whisk, then cook over medium-heat until the mixture reaches a simmer. Remove from heat.

2. Now make the spiced whipped cream. In a small bowl with a hand mixer, beat together 1 cup heavy whipping cream, 1/4 cup powdered sugar, 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg, 1/4 tsp. ground cloves, and 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract. Beat that until stiff peaks.

3. Pour 1/2 cup brewed black coffee into a mug, and about 1/2 cup of the milk mixture. Mix that together, then add on your spiced whipped cream.
