We are loving how these brownies turned out! They’re so cute with the pink and red colored M&Ms and they taste even better. The rich and fudgy brownie, with crunchy M&M candies, topped with a scoop of cherry ice cream makes for the ultimate Valentine’s Day treat!

Now we chose to use cherry ice cream when topping the brownies, mostly because we love the pink color and the taste. But you can choose pretty much any ice cream flavor you want! Some good options are strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, raspberry or maybe even blackberry!

Ingredients:

Flour: Just use regular all-purpose flour for this recipe!

Baking Powder: This is the leavening ingredient in the brownie batter.

Salt: Salt brings out the flavor and helps balance the sweetness.

Cocoa Powder: Use dutch-processed cocoa powder, as it gives the brownies a richer chocolate flavor!

Butter: We recommend using unsalted butter for this recipe.

Oil: Make sure to use flavorless oil for this recipe!

Sugar: This recipe only uses granulated sugar.

Eggs: Eggs help bind everything together!

Chocolate Chips: Adding chocolate chips to the batter adds more chocolate flavor and a nice texture!

M&Ms + Ice cream: Use the Valentine’s Day M&Ms for this recipe! And for topping, add on a scoop of ice cream. We love using cherry ice cream, but you can choose any flavor!
