Puff Pastry Chocolate Sleeping Bears

These adorable little Puff Pastry Chocolate Sleeping Bears are almost too cute to eat! Flakey puff pastry wrapped around melty, milk chocolate, and a charming little teddy graham tucked under the “sheets”. These little pastries look like they came straight out of a fairytale!

Ok, but these remind us of goldilocks and the Three Bears. But in this case, there’s four. 😀 These sweet little pastries will bring a smile to anyone’s face! They are sweeter than honey!

The Inspiration:

We saw a video of these on Pinterest and thought they were too cute and that it was such a creative idea! I mean, who wouldn’t want to make these?! So we got to work, and made our own to share with you all!

These are also a great recipe to make with little kids! they are so simple, and you can’t really mess them up!

Step-By-Step Video:

Also, did we say how they are only four ingredients?! Puff pastry, chocolate, teddy grahams, and one egg for the egg wash!

The whole process is pretty straightforward. Place two squares of chocolate onto the puff pastry (cut to 8 x 2 1/2 inches), then over the chocolate lay on the teddy graham. Fold the excess pastry over half of the bear. Next crimp the edges, brush on the egg wash, and bake!

Once they have cooled for a bit, you can dust them with some powdered sugar. Since the puff pastry itself isn’t sweet, the powdered sugar is recommended since it adds a more sweetness.

These would be such a cute treat to make for a sleepover or honestly any other occasion. Everybody will love them! If you do make them, leave us a comment because we love hearing from you all, or tag us on Instagram.

Tips and Tricks:

-Place the chocolate face side down so you don’t see the logo of the chocolate.

-When crimping the edges, make sure it’s sealed completely.

-Brush the pastry with an egg wash to add shine and color.
