This is our first time using blue spirulina, and we are obsessed with it! Like just look at this color, you guys. It’s almost hard to believe it’s all natural!

What is Blue Spirulina Powder?

Blue Spirulina Powder is a superfood algae, that’s all natural and totally edible! It has no taste at all, but gives this smoothie bowl a beautiful blue hue.

Description

Sapphire Blue Smoothie Bowl. It’s made with frozen mango, frozen banana, and gets its stunning color from blue spirulina! It’s thick, creamy, and really simple to make! The perfect tropical, and refreshing healthy breakfast or afternoon snack! 


Ingredients

Units Scale

1/4 cup milk, any kind

1 large frozen banana

2 cups frozen mango chunks

1 Tbsp. blue spirulina powder


Instructions

1. To a blender, or a food processor, add in 1/4 cup milk, 1 frozen banana, 2 cups frozen mango chunks, and blend that until completely smooth.

2. Now add in 1 Tbsp. blue spirulina powder, and continue blending that until combined.

3. Scoop into a bowl, and top with your favorite toppings.

4. Enjoy!
